Due to the current Covid situation there will be changes in how the Practice conducts the Influenza vaccination clinics this year.
Our flu clinics will be taking place during the week; please see below for dates and times. There will be separate clinics, like previous years, for the different at age groups. The criteria for flu jabs will remain: Over 65's and 18-64 year olds who are in an at risk group.
You may have seen in the news that the Government are hoping to offer a vaccination to all patients over 50 who are not in an ‘at risk’ group. However, this is dependent on availability of the vaccine and is likely to be towards the end of the year. We ask patients to monitor this page which we will update when we have more information available to us.
The clinics will have a one way system in place to ensure patients remain safe and social distancing regulations are adhered to. We request that all patients wait outside until the time of their appointment, follow the directions for entering and exiting the building, respect the social distancing rules at all times and to wear a face covering (unless exempt) whilst in the building. We will be doing everything we can to ensure patient safety at all times.
As part of national Government guidance we will also ask you for your ethnicity when checking in.
We must stress that if you have an appointment for a vaccination but on the day you have COVID symptoms, please do not attend the Practice, please contact us so we can cancel and rebook the appointment.
We ask all patients to be aware that there will be limited parking available on the days of the clinics. Those Patients that are able to would be advised it may be to your benefit to walk to the Practice.
